If you are looking for a carefree lifestyle in a newly renovated London apartment, look no further than The Gartshore!
The Gartshore's names originates from one of London's greatest citizens, Colonel William Moir Gartshore, who arrived in London in 1873. Colonel Gartshore served as manager of the London Car Wheel Company and later as president of the McClary Manufacturing 1970 Company.
Colonel Gartshore also served as an officer in the Queen's Own Regiment, and participated in the Northwest Rebellion in 1885. Following that, he commanded the First Regiment of Cavalry.
He was also a chairman for the Victoria Hospital Trust and served as Director of the Western Fair. Gartshore nearly became mayor of our great city in 1916, when the municipal election ended in a tie, which favoured his opponent when a tiebreaker was determined.
At Homestead, we are extremely proud to manage these two buildings that bear the name of this great citizen of London!
